Rethinking assessment in the age of AI
On Monday, September 8, the FERRANDI Paris – Saint Gratien campus hosted an educational day dedicated to a key issue in training: assessment.
The morning began with two inspiring presentations:
- Stéphanie Schneider and Paul Hing, a pastry chef trainer, showed how to combine active and digital teaching methods for positive and constructive assessment.
- Catherine Quilici, an expert consultant in neuropsychology, who enlightened participants on the contribution of neuroscience to the management of dys- disorders and ADHD—a subject that is all the more crucial as trainers encounter more and more neuroatypical students.
The afternoon was devoted to collaborative workshops, allowing participants to put these ideas into practice in four areas:
- Digital tools for assessment
- Inclusive assessment tools
- The role of feedback in learning
- Assessment through play
A day rich in discussion, reflection, and concrete ideas for supporting our students with accuracy and creativity in a world where AI and innovative teaching approaches are reshaping our practices.
