Once again this year, FERRANDI Paris had the immense honour of hosting the 75th Prosper Montagné Culinary Prize 2026, chaired by chef Nicolas Stamm-Corby and held under the patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron.
This year's competition celebrated the gastronomic richness of Alsace with two iconic products: sauerkraut cabbage and pikeperch.
Congratulations to the winners:
- Chadi Abou Nader – Saisons, Écully
- Alexandre Vuillin – La Pyramide, Vienne
- Alexandre Zoccolan – Restaurant Julien Binz, Ammerschwihr
Congratulations also to Mathieu Glairon Mondet, an apprentice studying for a vocational diploma in cooking at FERRANDI Paris, winner of the FERRANDI Paris – Prosper Montagné 2026 Young Hope Award, which recognises the most deserving commis chef in the competition.
Thank you to all the FERRANDI Paris teams who worked hard to organise this exceptional event, and to the students studying for their vocational qualifications in Marketing and Restaurant Services, Bachelor's degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Bachelor's degrees in Culinary Arts and Entrepreneurship, as well as their teachers and trainers.
This year's competition was marked by excellence, knowledge sharing and a passion for gastronomy.
