A look back at an exceptional evening: the gastronomic dinner to celebrate 40 years of Agir pour le Cambodge!

On April 2, the InterContinental Paris le Grand hosted a gastronomic dinner to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Agir pour le Cambodge, orchestrated by five top chefs and the students and teachers of FERRANDI Paris, in aid of the Sala Baï hotel school in Cambodia.

Alongside chefs Régis Marcon, Glenn Viel, Gérald Passedat, Jérôme Banctel and Jordan Talbot, our students put all their know-how and passion at the service of an essential cause: offering a professional future to young Cambodians from very disadvantaged backgrounds.

The goal was achieved: thanks to the generosity of 294 guests, 28 students from Sala Baï will be able to be fully supported at the start of the new school year.

A huge thank you to the chefs, the guests, our students, and the FERRANDI Paris teachers who supervised the students in the kitchen and the dining room: Olivier PENENT, Sébastien Vilmot, François Babinska, Christophe Darney, Alex Dreyer, Jakić Stéphane, Alexandre Béquin, Nicolas CHERONNET, Pierre-Matthieu Moulard, Frederic Lesourd.

Thanks also to the participating classes: Mise à niveau Hôtellerie et Restauration, BTS Management Hôtellerie-Restauration, CAP Post Bac Cuisine, Bac Pro Cuisine, Intensive Professional Program in French Cuisine, and Certificat de Spécialisation Cuisinier en desserts de restaurant.

FERRANDI Paris has been actively supporting Sala Baï since 2011, in the firm belief that training and transmission are powerful levers for overcoming poverty in the long term. Since 2002, 150 students - 70% of them girls - are trained every year at Sala Baï, with a diploma recognized throughout ASEAN: 97% of them find a job in less than 8 weeks.
